The Food Shed licensed Café overlooks Spadework’s beautiful courtyard garden, which also provides plenty of outdoor seating in the warmer months. The café specialises in simply cooked, wholesome dishes made from top quality, fresh, home-grown and locally produced ingredients. Our Specials Board dishes focus on ingredients which are in season, so are at their best in terms of value, flavour and freshness. Our home-made cakes and scones are baked fresh daily and using butter and free range eggs.

Using our very own home-grown seasonal vegetables and locally sourced ingredients where possible, we create a daily specials menu.

So why not combine shopping in our Garden Centre and Farm Shop, with a delicious lunch, or afternoon tea? Or you could quickly pop in for home-made soup and a roll, a hot snack, coffee and cake, or simply a cafetière of coffee, glass of home-made cider, locally brewed beer, or one of our famous spritzers, made with home-made cordials.

  • A large sunny exterior courtyard and terrace for alfresco dining
  • Free WiFi
