We’re delighted to be launch partners with this new, innovative fundraising scheme run by Tonbridge and Malling Council. We can raise money through our supporters buying tickets on line. 50p from every £1 spent is paid directly to us, plus a possible £25,000 jackpot for both the charity and the player with the winning 6 number ticket!
You can buy tickets online by direct debit or by credit or debit card from the attached link, which also shows in detail how the scheme works. Regular purchases can provide us with a regular income stream over time and of course you have the chance of winning up to £25,000 as well as supporting the work we do.
This is a new and exciting opportunity for us – we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a winning ticket for one of our wonderful supporters! Good Luck!
Give as You Live
‘Give as You Live’ works with 3,663 leading stores that have signed up to donate a commission on every online purchase to the charity of your choice. You do not pay anymore because this commission is already included in the price of what you are buying, so you can support your favourite cause, at no extra cost to you.
How to get started:
Visit the ‘Give as You Live’ website and follow the instructions
- Select Spadework as your chosen Charity
- Install ‘Give as you Live’ and start shopping as you usually do.
It’s that simple. If you have any questions please use the Give as You Live help facility.
By Payroll Giving – this is a simple, cost effective way to donate.
Payroll Giving is brilliant for us as it provides regular and reliable donations. This allows us to plan ahead and budget for the future.
The donation comes directly from your pay and is tax free. For example, if you give £5 per month, it will cost you £4 if you are a standard rate tax payer and just £3 if you are a higher rate taxpayer. The tax man pays the rest!
In memory of Donations and Legacies: It is becoming increasingly common now to request donations rather than flowers at a loved one’s funeral, perhaps to reflect their interests or adhere to their specific wishes. Everyone should have a will. When it’s time to write yours, perhaps you will consider the charities which have been close to your heart.
Leaving a legacy to Spadework in your Will is a very straightforward process and if you already have a Will, you can add the legacy by way of a simple Codicil. Just contact your solicitor and let them have our details:
Spadework Limited, registered charity number 291198, Teston Road, Offham, West Malling, Kent, ME19 5NA
If you haven’t already made a Will, then please do contact a local solicitor.
Please ‘gift aid’ your donation. This will enable us to reclaim the tax and it won’t cost you anything. Simply tick the Gift Aid box on your gift aid form
This confirms that you are a UK tax payer and that you pay enough tax to cover the Gift Aid.
We are enormously grateful to all our supporters; without your help we simply could not function:
Thank you… To our individual donors
Thank you… To the trust and foundations that have supported us
Thank you… To the local community groups that have supported us
